History

Dean - The founder of Wholesale Bargains, grew up in an industrial town in the East of England. 

 

Growing up from humble beginnings, Dean was always aware from a young age the cost of luxuries and vowed to himself that he would bridge the gap between the rich and the poor.

​

At age 12, Dean got his first taste of buying and selling. Purchasing 108 pieces of fashion jewellery from a shop that had wrongly priced it's items.

​

"the jewellery was displayed in a box of 12 pieces and they was supposed to be £1 each, and they had inadvertently priced them at £1 a box"

 

Dean then started selling the jewellery at 50p an item.

 

Since then Dean has sold all sorts, including Christmas Trees... in April. 

​

Fast-forward over two decades later, the company Wholesale Bargains was created.

​

"I wanted to give everyone an opportunity. I had came across a lot of people in my time and they all seemed to echo the same frustration. People would love to do a bit of buying and selling - the challenging thing was that in order for anyone to get started, they needed to buy large quantities - which begged the question - how was people going to afford it..? And where would they store pallets a time, without making their home look like Del boys flat..?"

Wholesale Bargains initially started by taking large quantities (pallets, truck loads, containers, etc.) and breaking the consignment down to manageable sized quantities that people could afford and store.

​

From then on, the company has gone from strength to strength, diversifying into undelivered amazon mystery packages. 

​

Dean has always kept true to heart the turning point for him (selling fashion jewellery when he was a child), which has remained one of the core foundations for Wholesale Bargains; and that is why you will find, to this day, Wholesale Bargains don't just focus on joblots but also sell single items at a fraction of their retail cost - bringing wholesale prices across the United Kingdom.

Wholesale Bargains has expanded several times since it's inception. The contacts made over the past two decades, not only allow Wholesale Bargains to get first refusal from suppliers, but also be able to have the costs of goods driven right down, which means two things for their customers.

​

Customers will always receive the latest and greatest items; and they will always receive items at a ridiculously low price!

​

There are many things within the pipline for Wholesale Bargains, including: edging towards becoming one of the largest philanthropic SME's within the UK.
